Welcome to the Rosse Pacchioli Photography blog!  This has been a long time coming.  Photography can capture so much emotion, feeling, and happiness, but it is only half the story of why I began my photography company.  A blog is the best way to capture the other half of this journey, deep diving into the ‘behind the scenes’ that brings my photos to life.

A Quick Intro About Me

Regardless of what I have done in my life, I always bring two things to the table- creativity and perfection.  Whether it was pulling all-nighters to finish design projects in college, or putting together killer marketing campaigns in my past professional life, to me, anything less than the best is sub-standard.  Photography has been the perfect way to blend these facets of my personality.  I love getting lost in the details of capturing the perfect shot and fine-tuning the final touches in the editing room.  You and your family deserve nothing less than the best when I work with you on capturing family moments that will last a life time.

Since I began my photography journey nearly 10 months ago, it has been a rollercoaster of a ride!  Balancing being a mother, a wife, and now an entrepreneur, I often take a step back and wonder how I’m able to make everything work.  Its not always easy, I can guarantee that!  However, becoming a first-time mom made it crystal clear to me how wonderful it is raise a family and witness the beauty that children bring to the world.  Being able to share this passion one day with my daughter drives me forward, especially in those moment when I wonder, “how the heck am I able to balance everything in this crazy new life?”

I have the fortune to do photo shoots for families in all different stages.  From newly minted parents, to families with teenagers with kids ready to go off to college – everyone is at different stages – but one commonality always rings true.  Love for the family and putting your best foot forward as a parent and as an individual is the best gift we give our family.  It motivates me to give my all to my clients, and hopefully this ethos rings true and inspires you in whichever pursuits you are taking.

What to Expect from the Blog

I hope to accomplish these key things through the blog.

• A journal – Everyone can benefit from journaling and getting their messy thoughts down onto paper.  Yet, I’m hoping by publicly sharing some of these thoughts normally meant for a private journal – I can spark some inspiration in you to dig deep and find what your passion is in life.
  
• The entrepreneurship journey – Starting your own pursuit can be one of the most difficult decisions to make.  You’ll think of every reason why you shouldn’t do something, rather than focusing on why you are uniquely positioned to make your dreams come true.  I’ve had my fair share of hiccups launching my photography business, so even if I can help you skip some of the problem spots that I encountered, I will consider it a victory.
  
• Photography deep dives – This is where I get to be nerdy with my newfound photography passion.  Photography is so much more than taking crisp pictures and making sure everyone is smiling.  I haven’t even scratched the surface of all the considerations of what makes a perfect picture, but I cannot wait to share everything I have learned, and what I will continue to learn.
  
• Connection to the community – If you do not know, I am based in Raleigh, North Carolina.  Raleigh is a fantastic place to raise a family, and I’ve learned so much more about the area in the last 10 months.  This is my place to share some of my favorite Raleigh spots, as well as connect you with the burgeoning photography scene in the Triangle.

Don’t be a stranger!  This platform is as much as about interacting with the Raleigh and photography community than it is to share my words and my work.
